Percival von Kirill, son of General Elric von Kirill is a 19 year old Stalwart Guardian Giant. Standing at an absurd 8'8, Percival towers over everyone with a gentle timid nature and an anxious demeanor. He was made for an ongoing Daggerheart campaign with a party of 6.

Personality

Percival grew up being told he was only good for one thing. Hurting himself to protect others, he would take blows from kids who'd get in fights and he'd sacrifice his own life for any other person on the battlefield. This selfless nature was instilled in him by his father, who brainwashed and groomed him into the perfect child soldier through corporeal punishment, and manipulation.

Percival's never known kindness, or what being held by a gentle father would feel like. Rather, he grew used to earning his meals, his stay and his position in Haven's Military. Timid, passive, well behaved and incredibly obidient to anyone who shows him a glimmer of kindness.

He's got a strange and overwhelming bloodlust on occasion, in which he acts far more animalistic. Desperation shines in his aggression, as he'll bite and kick. It doesn't matter - as long as he lives.

Backstory

Percival is a man defined by his hard work and dedication to the Haven Military. He fears more than anything being useless, and wants to be useful. He thought he could protect and save people; it's not like he had any other choice than to be a soldier anyways. He was given up at a young age to General Elric Von Kirill, and upon this man taking Percival as a son, Percival knew nothing but hard work, dedication and devotion to the Haven Military. He was always an outsider, being both seen as a nepo baby and a freak of nature due to his appearance as a giant. Either way, Percival never really made friends. It didn't matter anyways, not when he could always be working harder and becoming stronger to protect those smaller than him. He didn't know much other than being hurt and hurting to protect -- he's unaware of a lot, being a child soldier turned human meat shield. He takes any blow without complaining, not a single opinion will ever come from his lips.

Elric was not a kind man, both mentally and physically he abused Percival. He took all of this with stride, it's not like he knew anything else. That is, until the Cave In Incident.

The Cave In & Aftermath [PARTY MEMBERS DNI!!!]

Percival was sent to Mariplius to guard a Very Important Person, only for a cave in to happen and for him, along with his fellow soldiers to get trapped with him. Percival watched as his fellow Haven Military soldiers attacked civilians, claiming they were just dead weight. Percival stepped in and lost his eye.

The bright shining light and future of the Haven Military lost all trust in the military in that moment, and killed his own brothers in arms to defend the civilians. With guilt heavy on his mind, he stumbled out of the cave with a renewed sense of morality.

The very thing he fought for was corrupt and twisted, and upon heading home, Elric could sense something in his son had changed. His darling sweet servant, his obedient child soldier, beloved son and perfect boy began to distance himself from his oh-so-loving caring father. Elric quickly brought it up with Percival, and he cracked under no pressure.

"I don't want to fight anymore." His words were met with anger and a sense of betrayal, how could his son say those words when he spent the last 19 years of his life training him to be perfect. He sent Percival to his room, isolated for 2 weeks with minimal food and water until he would regain his senses. His son would eventually, no one knew Percival better than Elric after all. He was such a perfect sword, anything less would mean Elric failed. And he doesn't do that.

Percival ran away on day 15, and since then has harbored a sense of hate and anger against his father.
