You may see a lot of catholic imagery on this site, and whilst i am no longer a catholic, i have a big interest in theology, catholicism and the medieval period in general. i am in a way, stealing the aesthetic because it is pretty, but also because it is an interest of mine. you may see saint catherine of siena pictured often on this site, as she is my favorite patron saint and while not my namesake, we do share a name which is fun.

My current interests: half life, deadlock, kingdom come delieverence, the witcher, the orlando poems & le chanson de roland, pentiment, castlevania, the dark crystal, house of leaves, fear and hunger, pathologic, the medieval period, theology & classical literature.

As most on this side of the interwebs do, the modern internet vexes me and i see it as no more than a trite mockery of what could be. in turn, i try to stay off of it and use alternatives. i think the current web revival movement is integral and important to our society as a whole.
